Panel & Service Upgrades
Your panel is the heart of the whole system. When it's undersized, obsolete, or scorched, everything downstream lives on borrowed time.
A lot of Panhandle homes are still running panels that were sized for a 1970s house — then someone added a shop, a hot tub, central air, and an EV charger. Upgrading the panel (and often the service itself) gives your home the capacity it actually uses, with modern AFCI/GFCI protection that older boxes simply can't provide.
We handle the whole job: load calculation, utility coordination, the permit, the inspection, and a panel that's labeled so clearly you'll never play breaker roulette again. If your current panel is one of the known problem brands, we'll tell you — and if it's fine, we'll tell you that too.

Good questions
How do I know if my panel needs replacing?
Warning signs: breakers that trip constantly, warm or buzzing panels, scorch marks, fuses instead of breakers, or no room for new circuits. We can inspect it and give you a straight answer — sometimes the fix is smaller than a full replacement.
Will I lose power during a panel upgrade?
For part of the day, yes — most swaps are done inside a single day, and we coordinate the utility disconnect/reconnect so the outage is as short as possible.
Do I need a panel upgrade to add an EV charger?
Not always. We run a load calculation first — many homes have the capacity. When an upgrade genuinely is needed, we quote both pieces upfront so there are no surprises.
